Ben Hanna is a veteran community and political organizer who designs, implements, and manages large-scale electoral and issue campaigns, and currently serves as National Political Field Director with the Center for Community Change.  He has experience in managing grassroots legislative, leadership development, and organizing programs for membership organizations of primarily low-income people and communities of color.  A 2003 graduate of the
Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he majored in Political Science.  Prior to coming to the Center for Community Change in 2012, Ben spent six years with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), and two years with the Colorado Progressive Coalition as a Political and Organizing Director.  Ben is passionate about community-led social change work that builds power with and for traditionally underrepresented communities of people, and he specializes in working with state and local coalitions on issue and electoral campaigns.  Ben lives in Denver and loves spending time in the Colorado high country with wife, Sierra Trujillo, and their boxer-mix, Rocky.
